This music was first written in collaboration with writer, director, and actor Jeremy Stanbary of OpenWindow Theater.  Allesandro, later re-created under the title, Mercy Unrelenting is the story surrounding the tragic murder of a young Italian, Maria Goretti, and the later reformation and conversion of her murderer, Alessandro Serenelli.
